Terms
These are the terms you agree to when you use this site or buy something from us. We have tried to write them like a person talking, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
Who you are dealing with
Stolan Acres is an identity-first brand studio operated by Steve and Nolan in Michigan, United States. When we say "we" or "us" we mean Stolan Acres. When we say "you" we mean you, whether you are reading, subscribing, or buying.
By using this site or buying from us, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What we sell
Three different things, and they carry different terms because they genuinely are different:
- Digital products. The Playbook, the Operator, Reinvention OS. You pay, you get access immediately.
- Services. The Brand Resonance Audit, the Visionary Presence Blueprint, Website Builds, Brand System Builds, Brand Expression Integration and Brand Stewardship. Human work, done to a scope we agree with you first.
- Physical goods. Sold through our shop, shipped to you.
Prices are listed on the relevant page and can change. The price you are shown when you buy is the price you pay.
Services: how the work runs
We take a small number of clients at a time on purpose. When you book, we reserve capacity that we are then not selling to anyone else.
Before any engagement starts we agree the scope in writing: what we are making, what we need from you, and roughly when. If the scope changes along the way, we agree that in writing too, before we do the extra work. No surprise invoices.
Our timelines assume you get us what we ask for. If your inputs are late, the delivery date moves by roughly the same amount. We will tell you when that happens rather than let the date drift quietly.
The Brand Resonance Audit credits in full toward the Visionary Presence Blueprint if you go on to book one. That is a real credit, not a discount code with conditions attached.
Refunds and cancellations
Written plainly, because this is the part people need to know before they buy, not after.

If something has genuinely gone wrong, say so. We would rather sort it out than hide behind a table.
Who owns what
You own what we make for you. Once you have paid in full, the deliverables from your engagement are yours: your brand schema, your board, your marks, your copy, your site. Use them, change them, take them anywhere. We do not licence your own identity back to you.
We keep our method. The BRICK and BASE frameworks, our templates, our internal process and anything we built before meeting you remain ours. You are buying the outcome, not the machinery.
We may show the work. We reserve the right to feature finished work in our portfolio, case studies and marketing. If there is a reason you need us not to, tell us and we will agree that in writing.
Everything on this site that is not yours is ours: the writing, the design, the photography and the frameworks. Read it, share it, quote it with credit. Do not repackage it as your own or resell it.
What we need from you
- Give us accurate information. We cannot build an honest identity on inaccurate inputs.
- Have the right to what you send us. If you hand us a logo, photo or copy, you are confirming you are allowed to.
- Do not use the site to break the law, attack it, or scrape it wholesale.
The limits of what we promise
We will do the work properly and to the scope we agreed. What we cannot promise is a business outcome. Brand work changes how you are recognised; it does not guarantee revenue, followers or any particular result, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
The site and its free material are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to the site or an engagement is limited to what you actually paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits.
Nothing here removes rights you have by law that cannot be removed.
Other people's services
We use third parties to run parts of this, including Stripe for payments, Shopify for the shop, and the providers listed in our privacy policy. Links out to other sites are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for what happens on them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. If we end up in a dispute, we would both rather talk first, so email hello@stolanacres.com before anything else.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change this page and the date at the top. Your engagement runs under the terms in force when you booked it, not terms we write afterwards.
